Scripps Health CEO calls financial projections very concerning

With a wide range of changes coming to Medi-Cal and other programs in the coming years, Scripps Health and other local health systems are bracing for potentially large funding cuts, according to recent media coverage. 


Scripps Health officials said in interviews that the outlook for significant reductions in revenue from the programs is particularly concerning for hospitals that care for a large percentage of patients covered by Medi-Cal, the federal program that insures low-income individuals and those with disabilities.
